Here's a news item about a Total Solar Eclipse traversing the Pacific Ocean this Monday morning local time (Sunday evening UTC) :

Incidentally, according to the article, the umbra first touches earth 14 minutes before kick-off in the World Cup final, and finishes 37 minutes after full-time.
(Not sure if this is an omen for either team. )
