LaTeX support is back

Post #1by chris » 06.12.2009, 19:46

LaTeX support was disabled in the upgrade of the forum software to version 3.0.6, but it's back now after restoring the necessary customizations. Please resume your mathematical conversations...

Wow...

Check:

\frac{\int_0^\infty dx^\lambda \,f_\lambda^\nu (x)}{\partial_\mu g^{\mu \nu}(x)}
=======> OK

On my monitor, the LaTeX formulae appear always VERY small. Is there any way to switch to a larger rendering??

After the restoration of the old forum to the new URL, the LaTeX does not work. I will correct it in the near future .

Added after 8 hours 16 minutes:
Support LaTex returned. However, it will only work for new messages. To show formulas in the old posts, you need to edit post and save, so that the formula image will be generated. See example: viewtopic.php?p=120454#p120454

Lets see :

R_{\mu \nu} \:-\: \frac{1}{2} \; g_{\mu \nu} \, R \:+\: \Lambda \, g_{\mu \nu} \:=\: -\: 8 \pi G\; T_{\mu \nu}

Anyone knows what this is ? :razz:

Should be Einstein's field equations, right?
At least there is some scientific content on the new forum :wink:

Today I made a new implementation LaTex, and in the coming days will try to make the visual equation editor.
