Celestia crashes!!

Today when i starts Celestia, it's crashes! Just when it loads the data files, it's crashes!! Yesterday i start the "Sky River" project and everything was fine. Today i continue the project and when i start Celestia to check my progress, it's crash!! Why?

Edit: I make something. I remove Celestia and then installed it again. IT STILL CRASHES!!!
New Edit: I make Restore and now i can open Celestia. No crashes . But i can't understand why it do this to me

Celestia usually crashes because of buggy graphics drivers.

Restore returns your computer to the previous drivers.

Whatever you did installed bad graphics drivers.

No, i didn't chance the graphic drivers, i didn't make any chance. I didn't something very serious in the computer, that's why i was shocked.

Something updated your drivers.
That's why Restore fixed them.

Dunno if you have XP or Vista, anyhow probably you had a WIN update, automatic or manual, and this probably updated your graphic drivers to Windows graphic drivers, that are buggy and never to be used.
Making restore brought you back to your drivers.
May this be the reason?

Yeah i have XP, so maybe this creates the problem.
After a restart, the problem is gone. I hope that the problem solved. Many thanks ANDREA and selden

Suddenly my Celestia wouldn't work. I've been using Celestia for years with no problems, but tonight I got a error window saying "celestia has encountered and needs to close We are sorry for the inconvenience... " (and a prompt to send error report).
I have Windows xp (Windows NT 5.1 Build 2600) and only 2 things happened, automatic updates recently updated me from sp2 to sp3,(can hardly wait for reactOS to go beta) and I also removed m3plugin.dll. It seems this has happened to a few people already and in the next few days theres gonna be lots of Celestia users wondering why it stopped working. My restore is on for all drives but restore did'nt fix mine. Updating the graphics driver did the trick. The bug is in Windows gfx drivers not Celestia.

It's because of your display settings.
If you are running Windows XP, try this; it worked for me.

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Appearance and Themes.
3. Click Display.
4. On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
5. On the Troubleshoot tab, move the Hardware acceleration slider control to the third position (from the left), and then click OK.

Note The following message is the description for this position:
Disable all DirectDraw and Direct3D accelerations, as well as all cursor and advanced drawing accelerations. Use this setting to correct severe problems with DirectX accelerated applications.

6. Click OK to close the Display Properties dialog box.
