Celestia-1.5.1-ED: download problems

Post #1by carlopacca » 10.09.2009, 07:54

Hello,

I tried several times to download the file

CED-151-WIN_setup.zip

from

http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/educational.php

but I had some problem in "finalizing" the last downloaded bytes. It seemed to close correctly the download but when I open the zip file it says "bad zip header found" and when I try to run the extracted EXE it says "setup files are corrupted".

Do you have some suggestions ?

Thanks

Carlo

Carlo,

After reading your post here, I went to the site and downloaded the main package (489 MB)
from the Motherlode with absolutely *no* problems. The file extracted correctly, and the
program itself executed as it should.

All I can tell you to check your download program and your net connections, and make
certain that your unzip program works correctly.

Sorry, but it worked absolutely fine for me.
You might try using the unzipping utility Izarc. Can be found HERE.
