Int. Space Station crew seek refuge during debris scare

The first link above reports the size of the object as about 5 inches, the other says 1/3 inch. I suspect the first is more accurate (although a 1/3 inch object would still pack a punch at 32,000 km/h)

I followed that for a bit, the "condition red". What amazes me is that they could detect an object that size and at that speed. Makes me wonder of what else they're really capable of!
