Full-screen help

Hi,

I have been running regular Celestia 1.5.1 for a while, and not had any problems with full screen. However, with the educational version, putting the display into full screen seems to 'zoom' to the top left corner so I can only see about a quarter of the screen. It is always the top, left quarter regardless of the reolution or colour depth I set. See the screen shot below...

If I move my mouse pointer to make the menu bar appear, the display resizes to the correct size. See below...
With.jpg

Any ideas what is going on here? If I quit 1.5.1-ED and load the normal 1.5.1 without changing any settings, the standard release behaves perfectly normally.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me.

For info, I am running Vista Business SP1 on a Core2Duo 1.66GHz Acer Laptop, 1GB RAM, GeForce Go 7600 128MB graphics.

Thanks for your reply.

I am running a screen res of 1024x768 for output to a projector. There is no 'Window' option in the Celestia menus. In Render / Select Display Mode I have set 1024x768x16, and it stil outputs at four times the size that it should. Is this the setting that you are referring to, or is there a 'Set Window Size' option somewhere that I have missed?

Hi, and thanks again for your reply. The problem has nothing to do with what I output it to. I have same issue in 'clone' mode, 'dual-view' mode and when I'm just using my laptops display by itself. The problem repeats on an lcd monitor, a crt monitor and a projector so it certainly isn't this that's causing the issue.

I also can't see how it can be a driver issue, as Celestia 1.5.1 regular edition works exactly as it should. If it was a driver issue, surely it should be both or neither?

My laptop has the nVidia 97.55c driver installed, (version 7.15.10.9755) and I have the nvidia control panel application on here as well. I have posted the output of the OpenGL Info below:

One other thing that I spotted is that when I launch Celestia Educational Edition the version number shows 1.5.0, even though the filename is celestia151-ED.exe. Which version is it, and will this make a difference?

Thanks for taking the time to help me, I'm sure my students will appreciate it.
