The bug has only occurred on certain computers in my school computer lab. For example, out of 30 computers where Celestia151-ED with lua edu tools V1 has been installed, perhaps 5 of them will fail to load up lua tools on screen on the first attempt.
If Lua Edu tools fails to load, the entire Celestia screen will also be frozen. Nothing will move, the mouse cursor will move but does nothing when you click it on screen, no keyboard control and no time passing. I have to manually close the program by clicking the X in the top right corner, or using Ctrl+Alt+delete. Once I close Celestia, then reopen it, however, Lua Edu tools will now work fine most of the time (perhaps 1 out of five attempts, relaunching the program will not fix the problem. Lua Edu tools will again not load). Closing the program and reopening it a third time, however, will usually work. In summary, the problem is very sporadic, and seems to occur on just a few computers.
If I turn off the computer, reboot it, and relaunch Celestia151-ED on those computers, Lua tools may or may not load on the first attempt.
Since the problem seems to fix itself after a few try's, I have not reported it to you as a bug before. I also don't know if the problem is still present in the latest version of Lua tools.
I am now home for the Xmas holidays. When I return to school after New Years holidays in the U.S., I will try to locate those computers giving me the problem and try to turn on the log. The problem is that when Lua Tools fails to load, whatever is happening also locks up all controls. Pressing the keys has no effect, so I may not be able to activate the log, unless I can do it with a command line so that the program launches with the log active already. If there is such a command line, please advise me what it is so I can launch Celestia through the run menu, or a Windows shortcut with command line.
I will also load Lua Edu tools V2 onto those computers and see if that fixes the problem.
