Hi guys ,
Help I downloaded "extrasolar.stc" rev 4483 from sourceforge but Celestia does not see or load it suggestions please as to the problem?

Which version of Celestia are you running?
The newest solarsys.ssc can only work with v1.6. It contains declarations which are not recognized by v1.5.1.

Hi Selden,
I'm using SVN4493 from Cartrite's website, but I found the problem thanks it appears that during the download I managed to change the file extension although it didn't show up when looking in the data file.

You should consider changing some of the file display defaults. You can turn off "hide extensions for known file types". Under XP, it's in the menu item Tools/Folder Options/ tab View. This menu is on all folder display windows.
