Celestia and Google Earth

I've been thinking a lot about the future of the both of these great projects, but the the real interesting thing to see, although highly ambitious, would be the merging the two. I don't know if this has been brought up before, but I think it would be an amazing project if Google would collaborate with Celestia to create, basically, a virtual universe. Google doesn't have much to offer at this point in terms of satellite imagry of planets besides us, and Mars, but I believe with the two of them together, plus Google's attempts with their Space Features and Flight Simulators, could make the greatest program out there on the internet. Though everything comes with a price. I'd like to hear other people's opinions on this.

I suspect any merging is very unlikely.

1. The licenses for the two projects are incompatible with one another.
2. Google already has its own astronomy-oriented product.

I suspect license wise OpenStreetMaps would work better.
Marble would be better for this and uses OpenStreetMaps.

Dash, can you program?
