Help!! Ive just downloaded celestia 1.5.1 on my new vista PC and it wont let me save ssc files that i try to edit under notepad. Is there sumfin i need to do so it will let me save edited ssc files?????

What do you mean? My Vista system lets me save using SSC extension with no problem.
Perhaps you need to define the extension as being related to notepad files? Sorry, do not remember if I had to do this or not.
Why can't you save the file? What is/are the error(s)?

By the way, you can also use Notepad2, which is a much more robust text editor.

Sorry, I can't be any more helpful, but works fine on my Vista.

EDIT:
Look at the file name in Windows Explorer, and right-click on the file to select "Properties" from the choices.
Under the "General" tab, edit the choice for "Opens With" to include "notepad.exe" and it should work fine.
