Pardon my slowness, but is there a way to load scripts on the fly in the Unix versions? Would make my script writing easier if I didn't continually need to rename scripts and restart.
Also is there a plan to add the Solarsystem Browser to Unix?

I suppose when you say Unix you mean Linux? If so then the answer is YES. I prepared the binary celestia-kde 1.2.5 version for SuSE Linux (>=7.3) as a RPM. It is available for download on SourceForge. Hopefully, Chris will transfer Christophe's Mandrake Linux rpm soon to SourgeForge, too.
The KDE-version is even ahead of the Windows version in various respects. The Solarsystem Browser is incorporated even in the much less developed gtk+(Gnome) version.
You may start scripts in the KDE version simply by clicking the script file displayed in the Konqueror Browser. Note that the KDE version requires KDE-3.0x to be installed.
