Feature request: embed cel:url in captured image

Post #1by abramson » 04.06.2008, 22:12

Would it be possible to embed the corresponding cel:url into one of the comment spaces of saved jpg's? For example the IPTC, which has a "source" field? Or just the jpg "comment"? I think this would be very convenient, what do you think?

Yes, I think that this could be very useful, and probably not too difficult either.

Thanks, Chris. I have been diving into jpg libraries to find out how to do it and couldn't...

Having celurl's with images per default (screenshots) would be very cool.

Also:

-> add metadata that Celestia did it something in the line of:
Celestia <version> <platform>
e.g. Celestia 1.5.1 Win32
another example Celestia 1.4.2ED MacOS X

Could a script (the locations with times, only the parts that are being played or so) be added in movies as metadata?
