Hi all
I'm working on a 8k mars map without static bumpmaping (for better results with dynamic bumpmaping). I use the well known 10k map from spacegraphics. Now this is my first result.
Now my question is there already a unbumped hires mars map available? If it is so tell me how i can find it and i will stop my work.
Bye Jens

Jango,
you find this 10k map at http://www.space-graphics.com/redmars.htm. But celestia textures must have a size with a power of two (e.g. 4k, 8k, 16k) that means you can't use a 10K textur. I will resize my textur after processing.

8k dds or 8k jpg?
I'm not sure what's (visually) better - your SpaceGraphics 8k jpg or
the 8k dds I've been using?
