Interesting article! I like the image too... you can actually see the "bubble" defined in the composite image, my favorite being this one: http://chandra.harvard.edu/photo/2008/g19/g19_xray_radio_nir.jpg This would make a nice 3D addon! *hint jll*

It would be interesting to make/animate a supernova for celestia athpugh i imagine it might be rather complicated, and im not sure if independent luminesent objects besides stars can be created.
