Is this a spacecraft sim aswell?

I've used Celestia as an Astronomy program many times and I've seen the spacecraft in it, but I'd read not long ago that you could use the spacecraft aswell. Is this possible? If so I'd love to try it out! I was using Space Combat (Made by the same guy who wrote X-planes) which was very realistic, but it sadly, doesn't seem to work on Vista, well Celestia does.
So, if anyone has any infomation about it, it would be most helpful.

Thanks,

EdXCal,

It is now technically possible, but it requires the maker of the addon to provide code to do it.

So far as I know, nobody has taken advantage of this new feature. Doing it right does require knowledge of celestial mechanics.

As someone new to Celestia, with a eye towards simulation as EdXCal does, could you eleaborate a bit on the "new feature" please?

One would write ScriptedOrbit and ScriptedRotation Lua functions, which would return xyz coordinates and quaternion orientations.

Details are in the Celestia WikiBook at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Celestia/T ... iptedOrbit
and
