Deep Impact mission script updated - DOWNLOAD LINK

Hi all,

You can download the new french and english versions (1.3) of my Deep Impact mission script from the Motherlode :

I have integrated a new interactive menu from which you can select which chapter of the script you want to run. I particularly tried to improve the graphic look of this menu.

The script is divided into 3 parts :
- CHAPTER 1 : TEMPEL 1 (about 4' 30)
- CHAPTER 2: DEEP IMPACT (about 3' 00)
- CHAPTER 3: THE ENCOUNTER (about 4' 30)

This is a good opportunity to make the most of the new rendering of comets.

As usual, feedbacks and suggestions are really welcome.

Hi Vincent, I used your new script and it works well on my low-end hardware.
Thanks for the animation of the crash! I am posting where other people
should get the required add on by jestr :

The spacecraft are in alphabetical order. Get the Deep Impact .zip file with
19 megabytes.

Also, the scripts need to be put in the right directory so that the files are in a
new directory like :

C:\CVS3\celestia\scripts\deep_impact_script_en\*.celx

I forgot to paste here a copy of the readme file that explains where you can download Jestr's Deep Impact addon and how to install the script files. Anyway, If you put a copy of the zip file in your Celestia root folder and unzip it, the files will go directly in the right folder : ...\scripts\deep_impact_script_en
