is it possible using scripting to make celestia to start & stop recording video thru a script instead of openning the file menu and selecting file & video capture etc

AFAIK: No.

But why do you want a script to start and stop recording?
It's more work to code the script than using the file menu, isn't it?

for a video that i am gonna prepare thru a script to avoid always start and stop video capturing manually
