I am a very new user of "Celestia", just downloaded today. I have also downloaded some add ons for the application. I was a little surprised when I noticed that the scripts to run the add ons were not included in the downloads. Am I to assume that it is up to me to write the scripts to run these add ons? If so what is a good source of information to write scripts as it is something I will have to learn to do.

Thanks.

Here are some resouces on writing scripts.

I found the links on the scripts page on the Motherlode.

Plenty of addons don't need scripts to be used. Celestia has many keyboard commands. The Windows version (at least) has a list of commands under an option in the help menu.
You don't really have to learn how to write scripts. I havne't learned how to write celx srcipts yet. But it could be fun.
