This script allows you to enter a calendar date and then displays that date converted to a Julian Date for you.

UPDATE: Short-lived script!

It's replacement now does both, Calendar and Julian date conversions: http://shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4901.

Thanks Oni!

Hi Don,

Thanks for that conversion utility!! Just curious, will it also convert Julian to Calendar? Might be handy to have that as well :-)

Hi Oni,

Well, it didn't, but why not? Here is it's replacement ... http://shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4901

Now you're cooking!

Thanks so much Don!!

Sorry you had to rewrite your script, but it is always good for a conversion utility to be able to convert both ways :-) I've had many occasions where I only had the Julian date and needed to convert to Calendar, now I can much easier....Thanks!! Keep those great utilities coming!

You're welcome Oni, and you are absolutely right -- convert both ways.

It's not really a re-write, as I only added the other conversion. Since it does both, I decided to rename the script. :D

Hey, a CELX script that actually does what it's supposed to do...

Thanks, Don. Now I can get rid of the other three converters I had to get to
figure out which date I wanted.

Take care, Bob

Thanks Bob. Glad it helps out!

The funny part is that it doesn't even do anything in or for Celestia, except to help the person trying to do something in Celestia. Strange.
