Hi everybody!
The first time I heard about Celestia was yesterday! As I am working on a video project (non-comercial!) I have been looking for a way to create an intro for my video (which is about NewZealand):
I want to make a camera flight through space, close to other planets, straight to earth, where I finally stop over New Zealand.
I tried to make it work with google earth (which sucks), afterwards with NASA World Wind (which comes with a nice recording tool and a better look, but also LIMITS!)
Then I found Celestia (read about it in an other forum). It is awesome!
The thing is:
the entire flight has to be skripted and that is my problem. I lack the understanding for skripting and first of all the time to make it work.
The Intro should take about 1.5 min. The rest of the video (I should say the interactive DVDs) will be the result of working 11 (!) hours of video-footage to a movie. So I can't afford to read and learn for 2 weeks for only 1.5 min of film.
So, finally here it comes:
can somebody help me please and write a skript for me?
Celestia scripting help request
I've changed the title of the thread so it describes what's needed rather than seeming to be an insult. ("losers" is denigrating and is not an appropriate term to use in public.)
I've also moved the thread to the Scripting forum where it's more likely to attract the attention of someone interested in scripting.

Send me your e-mail and a better description of what you want, and I may
be able to help you out here. You simply wish a brief tour of the Solar
System which ends up over New Zealand?
Piece of cake. Let me know a bit more and I can e-mail you some scripts.
Please note that there ARE better, smarter scripting people here though.
It's just that I do have a little time on my hands right now.
