How to create planes, lines, curves ?

Hello Celestia users,

please help me with the following:
I am practising astrology and want to illustrate the creation of a birth chart using Celestia.

I want to create such things like planes and lines around the earth.

Is there a posibility to do it as script in Celestia or Lua?
Do You have a recommendation for me or a source to read?

Celestia does not yet have the functions to draw lines using a script.
I can think of several possibilities. Roughly in order of increasing difficulty:

1. Use your favorite paint program to merge a Celestia screengrab with a 2D chart

2. Create a flat 3D model with a 2D chart on one of its sides and place it appropriately within Celestia

3. Create a fully 3D model containing "rods" which form the appropriate lines.

That's what I assumed: to create a spacecraft just a line or plane.
