Fridger or another German speaking individual

Sorry for posting this here. I figured this was about as good a place as any to get a translation. What does "Wie geht's dir heut" mean? My 8th grade Deutsch is decades beyond rusty. My best guess was "How is it going?" Thanks in advance.

Well the /appropriate/ translation slightly depends on the context:

If the person addressed is ill, the translation would be

How are you feeling today?

The addition of heut' = heute => today
makes this interpretation quite probable.

The other alternative would be:
a slightly conversational form of "How are you doing today"?
or "How are things today"?

Wie geht's == Wie geht es ==> How are you?
heut' == heute ==> today

Bye Fridger
