Ive finnaly set up a nix box with Mandrake 10 and want to know programs to get and must haves... Alsop if I plan to use Celestia I am guessing I will need drivers for my video card... Its currently running with a GF Ti4600 128 megger...

Im mostly going to be using it as a webserver... but where to start is the real question...

I think it's best not to get carried away. Only install the software packages you're actually going to be using. Too many need frequent security updates, which becomes unmanagable if there are many packages installed.

Im referring to outside sources... Like painting/web development/3d modeling/etc...
