This is a joke. Long time ago amongst some physicists were a game in which might be found similitudes between the state and condition of matter and the centuries. For example the XVII century was said the "solid century" for its clockworks, for the raise of modern metallurgy, for the rigidity of customs etc; the XVIII was said the "liquid century", for its experiment on fluids, royal fountains, the electricity "as a fluid", for the drainage of lands, etc. Finally, the XIX century was said (obviously) the "gas century": steam engines, cinetic theory of, electricity "as a gas" etc. Thus, here will be voted "your favourite scientist" hairstyle. Note how this men were TRUE ROCKERS! Century before Woodstock they showed HAIR! Your conservative parents would have banned this men for their hair?
