Hosting woes

This might turn into a bit of a rant so, bear with me...

A couple of years ago I decided to go with Hostaway.net for my website needs, they were highly recommended.

At first all went fine, technical queries were dealt with in a personable and friendly manner... that was not to last, you'd be surprised to learn!

I've had probs lately ftping to my webspace (connection refused) so I went to their support site and made a ticket. After hitting 'submit' I get a message saying I will receive an email confirmation... nothing. Then I emailed their support directly... nothing. I then went to the billing section to check on my account status (site was renewed last August), I was prompted for my email address and password... invalid. Clicked on forgot password, thinking it may have changed somehow and was told that a new password had been emailed to me.... nope. Can't even login to my control panel as my login details are invalid according to them.

Trouble is my domain is registered with Hostaway also.

A while ago (august again) I get an email from Globat.com who have taken on Hostaway... aha! I'll check them out... submit a ticket... nothing. Email their support direct... you get the picture.

I'm at my wits end.

Many thanks for your patience.

Mods may want to delete/censor company names for legal reasons.

Oh that is terrible. Do they have a number you can call to talk to somebody directly? :(

Well... I guess a phone call is my last option here... Although I've tried before with no luck also.

Sorry to hear that. We've had that happen with our gameservers host. We now use Canaca for webhosting and Game Servers for our (yup) gameservers... although this likely won't help you much as it's all 'across the pond'.

How about doing a WhoIs on the domain? That usually shows who owns it, as well as support and abuse contacts.
