Hopefully, someone out here who's been experienced with various astronomy forums and groups, may have known Chris Frangoff. I met him on MSN Astronomy Forum in the late 1990's, and the last instant messenger chat I had with him was in the fall of 2001. At that time, his homeland in Australia was surrounded by wildfires, and he abruptly vanished from the forums. No emails, nothing.

So, if anyone out here knew Chris, or knows what happened, I sure would appreciate knowing. Not only was he a good friend in astronomy matters, but he helped me break into the internet back then.

You might try contacting the people who run the computer group on Mens Shed. They're in Australia and credit him with getting them started. They might know what happened.
