Rants of an insane parasitic lifeform

Post #1by Hunter Parasite » 18.11.2005, 01:48

I'm gonna rant about... The flood in Halo 2.

Ok, I really like Halo 2, but there are flaws, like for example, The Flood. They are so annoying. I mean, they're like every other friekin' zombie. They just run at you, hoping you will die. They grunt every now and then, and, worst of all, worst of all, THEY CARRY WEAPONS. I mean, yeah, it's ok to have a bunch of zombies running around trying to hit you but, GUNS! Like on Ledgendary, They all carry friekin rocket launchers. It's like God is out to kill us.

Also, they can drive. I mean, its bad enough that they can friekin shoot you, now they can run you over! And, they fill up warthogs. They start running you over AND shooting you!

Ok, now the little parasites. What the heck?! They're just a bunch of bubbles. They jump, almost like they are flying. They are also smart. Too smart. This is probably coincidence, but once I ran into a hallway with no shields, and a bunch of parasites killed me.

Last, the bloated ones, they waddle. And the bad part is, they explode. I mean, the sometimes come in two's and three's. They surround you. The BOOM!

WHAT WERE YOU THINKING BUNGIE!!!

lol I feel like ranting alot of times on games so I feel your pain. :)

Zombies should not be allowed to have guna and drive though, I agree. If zombies shot a gun the recoil would probably make a limb or two fall off. And if they drove their arms'd break off.

And you can get killed by bubbles? Hmmm...I guess those bottles of bubbles you can blow with that wand thingy aren't too safe after all!

The bubbles are parasites that jump on you and hope you die. they pop when you shoot them.

Don't worry, I know your pain. I hate the flood. Espically in the dark.
And my infmous gerende throwing (expert sticker) is useless when they start running towards, those things are fast.

Tip:
> A nice shotgun or sword does the trick for me. The parasites jumps up to you, swing away, also renders the combat forms useless for reinfection.

I like using the SMG and plasma rifles for the parasites.

HP,

I am a little sorry to say you that you should write in white because I think this color is reserved for links, aren't you ?

I think he should write without any specified color - everyone else uses the default colour and has no problems, whereas HP's text is hard to read for me since it's in orange against a grey background.

It's worse for me. Compare what HP wrote in orange with what Wildmoon wrote underneath (in normal text)

Is that better? I can read the orange on grey fine.

I must have good vision, I can see what Hunter Parasite is writing quite clearly too, but the default coloured writing does look a bit better. At least orange writing puts a little colour in our day.

I wouldn't be writing in white if people hadn't complained they couldn't see my text. I'd more than gladly switch back to blue if any one person cannot see my white text. (Does the above post count as a post about not being able to read my normal white text? If not, PLEASE, SOMEONE TELL ME THEY CAN'T READ MY WHITE TEXT!!!)

I agree, having people write in different colors does add a touch.

Besides, It's Christmas time!!!

and Hanahkah and Kwanzaa too.

Just for everyone's information...

I see clearly and can read/see ALL colors of text using the Solaris setup with
a black background. Of course, I can't see BLACK text. Just FYI. I also like
the space theme.
