Does anyone have a UPS

Does anyone have a UPS connected to their aquarium filter? I was thinking about getting a UPS (uninterrupted power supply) for my new filter, because whenever we have lost power in the past, it messes up the motor and eventually I have to buy a new filter. Sometimes the power just flickers on and off a few times, and that is enough to do damage.

I have heard of people doing this before, so I guess it's not uncommon. I suppose it makes good sense, when your equipment and especially fish collection can run into the hundreds if not thousands of dollars, it's better to be safe than sorry. I'm sure you can find good deals on the web. Don't forget to include the heater as well as the filter pump!
