I'm sure there are several possibilities. Considering its mass and its placement, I would guess that it might actually appear like Neptune or Uranus, a world covered by a thick atmsophere, and possibly a blue "haze" due to the scattering of light. I could easily see water clouds scutting across the surface as well.

One difference might be that the clouds are more obviously banded, so perhaps we have a Jupiter-like pattern with Neptunian coloration? Really, I think the book is pretty much open, though, on how the planet looks. For all we know, and despite its position in the star's HZ, this thing could look completely different and have an atmospheric composition leading to a completely different coloration.
