Just came across Howstuffworks.com's survey.

10.3% Proxima Centauri
14.7% Another one that you didn't list
24.1% I have no idea

An oldy, but a goody....

My guess would be: "Another one that you didn't list." (ie. SOL)

If they had listed SOL, most would have jumped on it. The only way to do it was to make a "other" category.
