If there is, are slipspace and hyperspace different?

The basic difference between hyperspace and slipspace is the identity of the author/TV producer from whose imagination the concept sprang.
They both share the common property of being plot devices invented to get round the awkwardness of interstellar travel taking decades at sublight speeds. They are also completely speculative.

Both are figments of SF authors' imaginations.
Please move this discussion to purgatory.

Honestly I have never heard of slipspace, however Hyperspace and Subspace I have heard of, and is commonly used to define levels of space above or below or plain. Whether these exist in real life is another question. Although you can consider the Quantum Foam a possible Hyperspace possibility

And if we haven't read them, we don't have a clue what you're going on about. So instead of getting other people to go to the effort to find out whatever it is you're talking about, why don't you just explain the concepts for once?
Though that said, let's try and keep the scifi out of this forum shall we? This stuff is best left for Purgatory (or better still, if you insist on talking about Halo all the time then do it on some dedicated Halo forums? I'm sure there are many out there)

ha ha ha ha hah...
I'll add;
Lawyers love slipspace, because you can sue the
Intellegent Designer/ Creator that bungled up that
region of space that caused you to bust your ass!
As for hyperspace....we are too un-cool for that region of space and need a hot chick on our arms to get by the bouncers and velvet rope.
