Is the status of S/2000 J11 demoted by IAU like S/1986 U10 few years ago? (In fact, S/1986 U10 was reconfirmed in 2003) I want to know about it.
I have not seen the name of S/2000 J11 in the Natural Satellites Discovery Data of JPL since Jan-05, but its orbital elements are shown on Scott Sheppard?€™s Page and Planetary Fact Sheet of NASA. I feel strange that all Jupiter satellites discovered in 2000 (except J11), 2001, 2002 and some in 2003 are given names for them. However, there are still no names given to S/2000 J11 and even being deleted from the list.
Therefore, I doubt that whether S/2000 J11 has been demoted.
Does S/2000 J11 still exist today?
