So Huygens has been released from Cassini.

...so when are we gonna get some pictures/sound files from the surface of Titan? I'm anxious...

Around january 14-15th it depends really its gonna descend late at night of january the 14th eastern time. Data will be transmitting and take little over an hour to reach us.

At least in the most recent CVS version of Celestia people may select Huygens and follow its flight until Jan.14. Very impressive to travel along with Huygens right until it dives into Titan's atmosphere!
Of course, the Huygens' support on Cassini is now empty. Also the release of Huygens from Cassini can be seen at the right time in Celestia.
