Jupiter's

Hello, I am doing a work of end of college on the experiment of Roemer, and I write a program which will calculate the speed of the light while being helped of the Jupiter postion according to time. I would need for that for an algorithm which gives me the Jupiter position compared to the sun in function of time (the angle, or heliocentric longitude) I would need also an algorithm or data to know the distance Earth - Jupiter according to time. Can be that I can find this in the sources of Celestia? But I do not know enough C to extract information. Thank you for your assistance,
