And all this time I was thinking pink gas giants aren't real...

oh the rude ugly !
If you had been around for the past several months and seen the destruction to the legitimacy of this forum and the trolling by lodgy and his duplicate accounts (and to some extent the refusal of the staff to moderate the board for whatever reason) you would realise that john Van Vliet's comment was more than well-deserved.

Well, well...

after more than 11 years of "shatters.net" and 8794 posts I meanwhile consider myself mostly as an outside reader. For knowledgable people the level of e.g. this important thread is merely disgusting. Thus let me invite my old friends to CM for some much more solid chatting and timely data collection about EXO planets "and all that".

Thanks. I have begun frequently visiting the CM forum over the past couple weeks since this project clearly isn't going anywhere. Afraid I won't do much but lurk but if there's anything I can do to help, I'm definitely willing to do so.

Hi Hungry,

excellent, thanks. I would very much value an exciting and analyising activity at CM about EXOs and related issues, moderated by you with your well-known good sense of knowledge and taste! The subject interests me also very much personally, yet I didn't find the time yet for updating my knowledge to the latest astronomical findings...Of course, the aim is to collect the reliable findings for celestia.Sci and critically separate them from gossip and pure speculation!

Later this summer we can surely talk about the more formal aspects of moderation of this important subject at CM.
