Titan's Methane

I was studying the moon Titan, and learned that it has a lot of methane on it's surface. I then looked up more about the chemical and learned that methane's flash point is -188 C. I don't understand this. Don't we use methane is common-day objects on earth? What about the flames caused by entry with the probe that we sent? I don't think that info is right.
