ESO: Richest Planetary System Discovered (hmm I guess our own solar system doesn't count, or maybe 8 is defined as being less than 7 somehow?)

Seems to lack Jupiters within 10 AU, the inner system is full of Neptune-mass planets.

(Chalk another one up in the hall of shame of RV planet detections claimed as representing the smallest exoplanet yet known, when this is far from being the case...)

I've added the system to extrasolar.ssc. It's available in the usual place on the SVN tree.

(I've also e-mailed Jean Schneider about the typo in the entry of planet f in the Extrasolar Planet Encyclopaedia.)

HD 10180 h also has a mistyped eccentricity.

... but where's the star itself?

I downloaded latest version of extrasolar.stc: http://celestia.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/celestia/trunk/celestia/data/extrasolar.stc?view=log
...and still no sign of the star.
EDIT (2 minutes later ): Ignore that...the star IS there, it just doesn't show up on the search in the ENTER menu.
Incidentally, this happens for quite a number of objects.... is this a bug? ( It is IMHO ).

Watched the movie "Sunshine" a couple of nights ago and felt like I was watching it all over again ... in Celestia!
(Anyone who's seen that movie will understand.)

Standard behaviour with catalogues (HD, HIP, TYC, SAO) is that they don't get put into the list of objects you get by hitting ENTER. That's why none of the HD stars shows up.

(Might be worth putting something to the effect of HD <number> as a placeholder there to avoid this confusion)
