I think it's time we shelved any ideas about terraforming Mars for human habitation.
It looks like Gerard K. O'Neill's famous question has now been answered. (See my sig.)

I would imagine that terraforming Mars would take place in the 22th - 25th centuries, which should leave plenty of time for us to use it before all the planets do a group hug sometime in the 22,000th century.

If this happens, Emmanuel Velikovsky will be screaming excitedly, "I told you so!"

Honestly, I'm not going to be concerned, as Earth will certainly not exist in any way we'd recognize by then, anyway.
