I hate these pseudo science articles. If this is to be believed that it shows extreme arrogance on our part, because we have to assume that we are alone (single intelligent life) in the universe. Or that no other intelligent life tried or exhibited any inclination of trying to figure out how the universe works. It also has to assume that the universe is fickle and can be very easily destroyed. We don?€™t even have the technology to destroy the Earth, let alone the universe. Worst case scenario is that we wipe ourselves out, but everything else will go on.

This reminds me of Professor Farnsworth of Futurama complains that judges of a quantum finish "changed the outcome by measuring it". Thing about this joke is that is more factually based then the above article.

So do I.

I have measured the quantity of substantiating science in that article, and it came to precisely zero.

So do I....

Here is the original paper that caused all that hot air in the science journal world.

Prof. Lawrence Krauss is a VERY well known Theoretical Physicist, and I also know him personally. It is amusing to see the difference in formulation between what the press makes out of it and what he writes as a scientist...
