Orion Spacecraft Solar Arrays

Post #1by Hungry4info » 18.03.2007, 17:35

What shape are they?

I've seen the Orion spacecraft with rectangular arrays in some pictures, but in others, I see them as circular. I'm sure the was probably a design change. Does anybody know what the current Orion spacecraft's solar arrays are shaped like?
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

This NASA pdf, dated August, 2006, shows circular panels.

For an authoritative answer, though, I'd suggest posting your question on http://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/
