Martian Cratering Rates

Hey guys...

Are there any rough estimates out there for the impact cratering rates for Mars? And if so, would the recent imaging of fresh craters by MGS up that estimate at all?

describes some of the research in progress that's using MGS to try to answer your question.

Thanks, Selden.

I can't get the PDF to work (it kills my browser), but I'll wait and try it on my newer computer, once I can get back into my office.
