Have you seen the transit? I organized a small event at my campus, and a surprising number of people showed up. We set up a couple of small telescopes to show the event to the people, and they were very enthusiastic. I made a small webpage with pictures, and you are also invited to see it:

It's the small dot in the middle of the sun, right? The one at the bottom left is a sunspot?

Right. That sunspot just turned into view for the show, the day before. Two other sunspots, much smaller, can be seen at the other side of the disk, also near the border. The Sun is going through its low activity phase, so there are few and small sunspots, nothing like the image generated by Johaen, unfortunately...
