Star cluster catalogues?

Post #1by Malenfant » 31.05.2006, 21:24

Anyone know where I can find a list of nearby (i.e. up to within a few hundred parsecs of Sol) star clusters showing RA, dec, and distance? A google search didn't find much - the messier catalogue on SEDS only had Ra/Dec.

I think Selden did one of these already as an addon. Check his site.
Homebrew:
WinXP Pro SP2
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 3000/333 2.16 GHz
1 GB Crucial RAM
80 GB WD SATA drive
ATI AIW 9600XT 128M

Look at this link.

Can't vouch for its accuracy, but the rest of the site seems good.

Cheers,
