Prometheus,substitute to JIMO

Is Prometheus the substitute of the Jupiter Icy Moon Orbiter? When will be launch and what??s the differences between the new and the previous mission?
I am relieved that we will still explore the galilean moons in a near future...

I thought Prometheus was the name of the R&D project that would ultimately result in nuclear-powered (as in, reactor not RTG) spacecraft. It's not an actual mission AFAIK.

Don??t you think is absurd that JIMO was cancelled?Even the unmanned missions are going down.Soon, the NASA will be irrelevant, unfourtanetelly.
