Shuttle Mapping Mission

The resolution of this data is 3 arcseconds. Is it possible that now we have a map with bigger resolution than the base map for Blue Marble,i.e,more than 43k of resolution?Could be now possible to have a real 64k Earth?

Are you talking about SRTM data?If so this is just height data-there are lots of holes and inaccuracies in the data though, especially when over water.Jestr

Actually there is better than 1km/pixel resolution imagery (500m/pixel)available free from here
ftp://ftp.glcf.umiacs.umd.edu/modis/500m/
The Modis 32 day composites, but it is a different projection (Goodes) and still contains clouds.I havent downloaded any of the huge files available but my guess is it contains lots of black lines and red boxes drawn all over the place as a lot of the other Modis stuff,Jestr
