Educational programs for Astronomy
Dear Maaf:
Thanks for the link. Project CLEA, which is run by the University of Gettyburg, is a great site with lots of good programs designed for use in computer classrooms in Astronomy. I have used five of the software programs in my Astronomy classes in the past two years. My high school students generally like doing them, although they demand attention to detail and measurements which can get tedious after a while. In general, however, I recommend the CLEA suite of activities for any teacher who is teaching Astronomy in class at the high school or college level.
Regards,
Frank
