I was looking at the entry for Delta Tri on the SIMBAD database, and it seems that the references to it being a binary and having a companion star have been removed from the basic data section.
Does this mean that the latest data on the system have ruled out the presence of the companion star?

Re: Delta Trianguli B ruled out?
The page is here, if I look at the other object types section I see the following:PlutonianEmpire wrote:I was looking at the entry for Delta Tri on the SIMBAD database, and it seems that the references to it being a binary and having a companion star have been removed from the basic data section.
The key to the object types is at this page, the meanings for these object types are:* (*,AG,ASCC,BD,CSI,GC,GCRV,GEN#,GJ,HD,HIC,HIP,HR,N30,PLX,PM,PPM,ROT,SAO,SKY#,TYC,UBV,USNO,uvby98) , PM* (Ci,LFT,LHS,LSPM,LTT,NLTT) , ** (ADS,CCDM,IDS,WDS) , SB* (SBC7,SBC9) , IR (2MASS) , UV (TD1) , X (1RXS)
* - Star
PM* - High proper-motion Star
** - Double or multiple star
SB* - Spectroscopic binary
IR - Infra-Red source
UV - UV-emission source
X - X-ray source
So SIMBAD does indicate this system is binary or multiple.
