Biggest star & coolest star

Apparently they've just found the biggest star in the Milky Way (they way the write that, I assume there are known bigger stars in other galaxies?). EDIT - found a list of largest stars on Wikipedia, so it looks like the biggest one known is indeed in the Milky Way.

And completely unrelated finding of the coolest 'star' ever found (it says "coolest sub-stellar body ever found outside our own solar system" - it's a brown dwarf).
