Reflection of sunlight off Kraken Mare

Post #1by ajtribick » 17.12.2009, 22:01

This is quite spectacular - reflection from the Kraken Mare on Titan. This is going to be an interesting one to simulate in Celestia :)

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a map of cylindrical Titan that clearly shows the north polar lakes. Else I'd sure try it in Celestia.
Current Setup:
Windows 7 64 bit. Celestia 1.6.0.
AMD Athlon Processor, 1.6 Ghz, 3 Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

Time to add a specular mask to our Titan texture? :)

It's all on my recent Titan_2009 texture (Celestia.Sci)

Fridger :D

EDIT

Here is the location of Kraken Mare in a simple_cylindrical / polar map for Titan "beginners" ...
