Everybody likes Capella

Well since this system seems to get mentioned in the context of the Celestia binary stars file fairly frequently, this might be of interest...

arXiv:0906.0977v1 {astro-ph.SR} - Torres, Claret and Young: "Binary orbit, physical properties, and evolutionary state of Capella (alpha Aurigae)"

Basically the system presents problems for models of stellar evolution, rotational synchronisation, spin axis alignment and tidal circularisation of the orbit. Nice.
